There is nothing making you less than %100 perfect other than your thoughts about yourself.
Confidence starts in the mind. If you are not where you want to be with your confidence level, ask yourself:
“Why am I not confident?”
According to your answer, you will get a deeper understanding of why you feel low self-esteem.
Now your mind may play tricks on you and give you a long list of why you are not the way you might want to be or you do not have what you think you do to be confident, but let me remind you once again that, it is in your mind.
You believe that you lack something and without that something you feel incomplete or less than yourself in some way, making your confident levels drop.
You want to try and remove all false beliefs (negative thoughts) from your mind that are adding to your low self-esteem.
It is common for these beliefs to pop up when you answer the question above: “Why am I not confident?”
You may have thoughts pop into your head such as “I am just not good enough” , “I am not good looking”, “Things never work out for me”, “I can’t… “ I don’t have…”.
These are examples of false beliefs that you have habitually thought about which created the belief within yourself.
Once you know these false beliefs, you can start replacing them with other more positive thoughts.
As you think, so shall you be. So, if you think you can, you are right, however if you think you cannot, you are also right.
You are the creator of your reality and if you want to be more confident, you have the power of choice to choose to to step into that confidence right now.
Once you know what is stopping you by answering the question above, you can begin to uproot and replace those false beliefs regarding yourself.
Example for the false belief of “I’m not good enough” you could uproot and replace it with the thought “ I am perfect in my own way and will align with what is best for me”. You could replace “ I can’t…” with “I can do whatever I put my mind to”
It starts with thinking highly of yourself and knowing your worth.

Below is a small exercise to help get you back on track with your confidence and boosting your self-esteem.
Usually we are our own worst enemies and it is only you that can make or break your self-confidence.
During the next few days , focus on your inner dialogue.
Make a note of all the times that you catch yourself giving attention to negative self talk that undermines your belief in yourself let alone your confidence.
For each thought you make note of, write down an affirmation or positive statement that you can use to redirect your thought process. Also make note if there was something you were experiencing which triggered your negative self talk.
